[Well well well. A certain Scout had managed to make it through Mother's Day with nothing more than losing a toaster, but does that mean he's going to be nice on Father's Day? Probably not.

It was halfway through his workday when he realized what was going on, and it was right then and there that, if you were standing near him, you could *swear* you saw him grow little devil horns and a forked tail. Oh ho ho. Oh ho ho ho ho.

The problem is the women of this town are smarter than that, and he's having a hard time finding anyone to try this out on that's any fun; drones are so boring! But he's still looking, and ladies, he wants to know what you're thinking. Feel free to innocently approach/berate/be victimized/run away screaming from him!]

[At their house Ai walks up to him and holds out a baseball glove....Yeah Ema helped her get him a present...]

[Blinkblink] Fer me? Seriously? [Then it dawns on him, and he grins.] Wait, fer Father's Day?

[He laughs, good-naturedly.] Seriously? People 'r supposed ta give their fake dads presents too? Well hey, thanks! Whattaya say then, wanna play catch?

Don't tell me ya never played catch before! It's like... man I don't even know. Toss a ball back 'n forth? I got some kid-sized gloves left in tha garage from tha campin' trips if ya wanna have a go!

[He pops off into the garage, and returns with a ball and a glove for Ai. He tosses the glove and ball her way, and proceeds to bend and flex his own.]

Good, I need ta break this one in! Good choice, by tha way. This is pretty good.

Awright kiddo, let's see what yer made of! Gimme yer best throw!

[And she's puts the glove on looking at it, and moving her fingers curiously. After a moment she picks up the ball and throws it.

It's a fairly decent throw for someeone who's new at this.]

[He catches it, grinning.] How 'bout that! Pretty good, kiddo. Keep practicin' an' ya'll be an expert in no time! But how good are ya at catchin'?

[He tosses it back at her, a little faster than he probably should.]

[It goes in...and then falls out. Ai looks at it for a moment and then picks it up again.]

Ya gotta grab it when it hits the glove. Otherwise that'll happen.
