32nd Inning

[There's something going on outside 1451 Mitchell today! Two people, specifically Scout and Ema Skye, are sitting at a card table at what looks to be a lemonade stand. Except it's not a lemonade stand. There's a hastily-made, messy sign hanging up front reading "DELICIOUS HOMEMADE LIQ DRINKS, 5 CENTS". There's several pitchers and cups out on the table filled with questionable liquids. There's a very, very strong smell of booze coming from them. And the two manning the table are giggling like maniacs because they're drunk as skunks.

So what do you say, Mayfield? Care to find out what the hell is going on? Do you approach?]

[At least you aren't calling her a random month, like August! But April doesn't care, since you're both drunk of your faces and she makes a muffled sound of agreement as she keeps drinking and then places the now empty cup on the table.]

Yeah! Sure! We got lots. Kinda. Yeah. Pretty good amount. We drank some though.

Yeah. We had to make sure our product was good to go, you know~ Plus, we really really really needed drinks. This place is messed up. [VERY SERIOUS NOD.]

So here, try this one! [Gleefully hands her a cup of something else. It's significantly less delicious, although just as potent as the first.]

[Taking the cup with a grin and a "Thanks", she slowly gulped it down. The taste kinda sucked, but at least it was strong.]

This is pretty strong too! [Keeps on drinking.]

[Turns to her business partner.] It is! We should write that down! [She starts going through the stuff sitting behind the card table, looking for a pad and paper.]

[April smiles behind her cup at them as she continues drinking; this was strong stuff and she was starting to feel a bit buzzed. It was only a question of what the stuff in the other pitchers is like...]

[She's free to try! There's all different "flavors", being that they tried with with different fruits and juices. Some are really strong and some are much weaker.]

Man. Who ever thought science made such awesome stuff.

I told you science was amazing! [Ema playfully punches his arm, almost missing it.]

Would you like another cup~? We used every different type of juice we could find, so we have a variety!

[Finishes the drink and places the now empty cup on the table, feeling kinda buzzed. April nods at Ema's question.]

That's the spirit! Bottom's up! [He's pouring himself one too.]

[April takes the cup from Scout and watches the both of them with an amused grin, before taking a gulp from her own drink.]
