[Ladies & gents: Scout. He's not the brightest. Just don't tell him that! Anyone who's talked to him so far may have gotten this idea. He's seen a lot of weird things in this town, but something has been brought to his attention that is really bugging him.]

OK, I know this town is super-friggin'-weird, an' that people who get pulled inta this town may not necessarily be from the same place I am from... however THAT works. But I've also been told people 'round here also think they are countries? How can a person be a country? That... that is not possible. A person cannot be a country. A person is a person, and they LIVE in countries, they cannot BE a country. An' I haven't seen anyone runnin' around here... shaped like... France 'r somethin'...

[At this point even he's not sure where this is going.]

ANYWAY. If yer one of these people, I would love it if you could explain ta me how this even works, otherwise I'm callin' bullshit on alla youse. Otherwise, it'd sure as hell be nice if ONE thing in this stupid town made sense!

Sometimes a person will become a drone. Sometimes a drone will be replaced by a person. But the population will appear to be the same at all times.

Yeah, so I've heard. I heard people who get brought in here sometimes get turned into a drone permanently, too. Creepy stuff, man. So, it's gotten bigger before? Did everyone just wake up one day an' there was a few extra streets?
