[Scout's spent too long cooped up or being hunted down by hazmats recently. Now it was finally Halloween, and it was time for fun!

So he's out roaming the neighborhood trying to jump put and scare kids. He's surprisingly good at it. Better look out, as he's about to get you! His Halloween costume, by the way, is the Milkman. The drones don't get it, but he's certainly thinks it's pretty damned appropriate.

He'll be trolling for candy too. No, he doesn't care that he's 21 years old. You're never too old for candy, right? Oh yeah, he just TPed that tree in your yard too. Or covered your car in shaving cream. Any number of juvenile pranks are coming at you!

Also, there will be a ring on Taiwan's doorbell. A package of Halloween cookies will be left there, with a note attached saying they're to her, from Scout. He promised her something nice for her birthday, but Mayfield sort of stomped all over any chance for fun last week.

[Too bad Seii is already outside when he shows up, working on those papers and handing out candy. He's got good judgment on people, and it doesn't help that Scout is probably carrying either TP or shaving cream.]

Ah, ya know, just havin' some fun! Doesn't seem like anyone's havin' any parties 'r anythin'. Guess that's all thanks ta all the crap that just went on. Gotta celebrate Halloween anyway, if ya ask me!

[In retrospect, jumping out and scaring people who just got done being harrassed and murdered for a week isn't a good idea. But Scout doesn't think like that.

He jumps out and is about to yell something, when you haul off and hit him in the jaw. Ouch.]

Ya got it! I mean, what's the scariest thing in Mayfield, right? [Gringrin. He then turns an launches another roll of toilet paper into the tree across the street. All that baseball and a lifetime of juvenile deliquency has made his TPing skills great, for what it's worth.]

I mean, no one's up fer a party after everythin' that just happened is my guess, so I gotta celebrate somehow!

[Ciel enjoyed sewing. She would have made a costume, really, but multitasking so hard in the end that week didn't give her any time to do so after all. ...Kids were all dressed up as demons and vampires and zombies and stuff, though, so maybe just going with her priestess robes shouldn't be a problem either. What, it could totally pass off as a costume! It fits the theme, okay, so that's that.

She does catch the blur from outside by the living room window, so she steps out in turn, her fingers laced together and resting on her abdomen.]

Is that really as fun as you're making it out to be, Scout? [She'll raise an eyebrow with a faint smile. She'll never understand the appeal of TPing trees, but if someone else is having fun with that, then by all means.]

I'm fine, but thank you for the offer. That would be quite a chore to clean up once the night ends, however. Would you be so kind as to keep the mess in just one place? I would be able to clean up that much, but any more, and I'm afraid that I will have to hold you accountable.

(The Sniper knows you crazy kids and your pranks. He's been chasing them off his lawn all evening. When he sees the Scout, though, he doesn't bother saying anything. He just takes aim at the twitchy little hooligan's head, intending to shoot that hat right off.)

[Scout's gleefully TPing your tree, when all of a sudden there's the shot from a sniper rifle and his hat goes flying from his head. Having gone through this enough, instinct takes over! Scout zips off behind a the nearest cover - a car parked by the curb.]
