[Scout's spent too long cooped up or being hunted down by hazmats recently. Now it was finally Halloween, and it was time for fun!

So he's out roaming the neighborhood trying to jump put and scare kids. He's surprisingly good at it. Better look out, as he's about to get you! His Halloween costume, by the way, is the Milkman. The drones don't get it, but he's certainly thinks it's pretty damned appropriate.

He'll be trolling for candy too. No, he doesn't care that he's 21 years old. You're never too old for candy, right? Oh yeah, he just TPed that tree in your yard too. Or covered your car in shaving cream. Any number of juvenile pranks are coming at you!

Also, there will be a ring on Taiwan's doorbell. A package of Halloween cookies will be left there, with a note attached saying they're to her, from Scout. He promised her something nice for her birthday, but Mayfield sort of stomped all over any chance for fun last week.

Ah, ya know, just havin' some fun! Doesn't seem like anyone's havin' any parties 'r anythin'. Guess that's all thanks ta all the crap that just went on. Gotta celebrate Halloween anyway, if ya ask me!

[He settles the papers down quietly, moving the bowl of candy on top of them so there's no issues of them blowing away.]

Until all that happened, I was sort of pretending this was just some weird dream or something. But now I'm a slight bit worried.

[He frowns a little, but turns to throw some TP anyway while he talks. He's trying to put that stuff out of mind for the moment.]

Well, I was here for Westport, an' the Commie town... they've done some other stuff too, but those were the worst. Somma the stuff they do is just kinda...weird. Like Vaentine's Day. 'R April Fool's.

[He draws a piece of candy out, calling out to Scout to catch before tossing it with good aim towards him.]

[He catches it of course!] Thanks, pally. Naw, it's okay. I mean, this stuff ain't gonna stop till we find a way outta here. An' a lotta what just happened here was kinda like what Westport was like.


I should prob'ly make a call 'r somethin', since a lotta people here weren't around when Wesport opened up.

Maybe. It would be helpful, I think. But, for now I suppose it -is- best not to worry about it and enjoy Halloween if possible.

Yeah! Least they let us have this holiday. I'm sure tha next one'll be like... zombie turkeys 'r some shit. Ya never know what they'll pull next.

I suppose they just aren't very creative then. They're merely following the guidelines of the time period, in so many ways; nuclear war, strange men in suits. No creativity.

Yeah, they really like stickin' to tha Andy-Griffith-meets-the-Twilight-Zone kind of vibe, don't they? So maybe we'll be in fer some radioactive turkeys instead.
